Lunch & Learn w/ Coastal Realty Services

It was a great day for a "Lunch & Learn" ! Our SERVPRO team had a blast meeting with the realtors of Coastal Realty Services on Fort Walton Beach today.

We discussed our list of services, enjoyed a Q+A session, and talked about how we could benefit + serve each other in the future.

We enjoyed having this wonderful group take the time to learn with us and share a delicious Panera Bread lunch!

IICRC Certified

Two of our SERVPRO staff recently became IICRC Certified in Water Damage Restoration!

They underwent a 20+ hour course in which they became experts of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying structures. Upon achieving this certification, they are now acknowledged as having the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

Congratulations to our Office Manager, Kristen Reed, and our Digital Marketing Specialist, Joshua Alvarado for this achievement!

After a year of hard work, teamwork, and growth, our SERVPRO family came together for some well deserved communal time to celebrate the holiday season. We enjoyed a night together with a delicious dinner, gift giving, and games.

Santa's Firehouse Cruz-Thru Toy Drive

We were truly honored to help sponsor the Annual Santa's Firehouse Cruz-Thru Toy Drive. The event was a success thanks to our local first responders and all volunteers. A special thank you is in order for the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department. Their hard work and dedication gave kids a glimmer if hope on Christmas Day, reminding us what the season is all about.

Employee Appreciation Day

The first week of October along the Gulf Coast was met with heavy rains and flash flooding. As countless calls began to flood in, SERVPRO of Crestview. Defuniak Springs, and Chipley was sent into disaster recovery mode. The entire team showed displayed their resilience and commitment throughout the week.

As a token of gratitude, Owners Jeff and Wendy Jones held a "Heroes Appreciation Breakfast" to commend their SERVPRO team on their efforts. Jeff and Wendy prepared a delicious handmade breakfast consisting of sausage, biscuits, and fellowship.

Rimkus CE Seminar

Our Sales & Marketing Manager, Deborah Oberhausen, and General Manager, Greg Cartwright, had a booth at the Rimkus CE Seminar which was a SERVPRO sponsored event. It was a 5 hour Law & Ethics Continuing Education Update for insurance and legal professionals. The seminar had classes that provided information on the Biomechanics of Injury Causation, and How to Select and Use Consultants.

Ray's Happy Wedding Day

Jeff and Wendy Jones, the owners of SERVPRO of Crestview, Defuniak Springs, and Chipley are enjoying this day. Ray Fernandez, a Crew Chief, just got a Chief of his own, as he smiles broadly on his Wedding Day. We all wish this great team player the best of luck and future successes.

Habitat for Humanity

We are proud to have had a hand in raising nearly $12,000 to give Habitat for Humanity of Okaloosa/Walton/Bay counties.

#CAI golf tournament

We had the most perfect weather Friday (as always) for the #CAI golf tournament. Great event fundraising for an even better cause. We can't wait to hear the final numbers that were raised for our local #HabitatforHumanity chapters.
